Chelsea Ainsworth
Chelsea Ainsworth, originally from North Carolina is a from the Juilliard School. Her dance training began at the age of 8 at Pierrette Sadler Dancers where she studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Modern dance for competition dancing. After many competitions she was accepted into the North Carolina School of the Arts in high school as a ballet major. She participated in Youth America Grand Prix in the 2003-2004 and 2005 years and won first place in the contemporary category. As a student she has performed works by Adam Hougland, David Parker, Johannes Wieland, Twyla Tharp, Paul Taylor, Jerome Robbins, Martha Graham, Aszure Barton, and Jose Limon. She teaches creative movement lessons and works with some non-profit organizations in New York, ASTEP (Artist Striving to End Poverty), CLIMB, (Combining Literacy in Musical Beginnings) and TOC Music (Ten O'clock Classics). Through successful arts immersion projects in the communities of Florida, New Orleans, Bronxville, North Carolina, California, New York City, The Philippines, Japan, and New Jersey she has provided free, accessible arts education and free, public performances. This awareness has led her to dedicate herself to founding the seeds of art in communities where arts education is not well-established, as well as starting her own LLC MOSAIC (Merging Our Specific Arts & Inspiring Collaboration) that focuses on interdisciplinary performance as well as educational outreach. In the upcoming years she will continue her work with MOSAIC and she is excited to join Johannes Wieland's dance company in Kassel, Germany starting in January 2011.


Cheryl Copeland
Cheryl Copeland graduated with a BFA in Dance Performance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Cheryl's fresh, unique style and approach to dance has made her in demand and given her notoriety across the United States. Having studied and performed extensively in Florida, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles, her training and technical expertise is reflected in her classes and choreography.

Her professional work includes Tap Kids, Between Lines, Superbowl, Disney, MTV, as well as several other industrials. She has worked under such notable choreographers as Mia Michaels, Milton Myers, Lisa Hopkins, George Faison, Kim Bears- Bailey, and Winifred R. Harris. As an educator, her students have received countless awards, scholarships, and gone on to dance with artists such as Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Aaron Carter, and can be seen in Target , Gap , and Old Navy commercials. Some of her students are even pursuing degrees at the notorious Juilliard.

As a choreographer, she has won countless awards including a Choreography Under the Stars finalist cash award, A young choreographers award from NYCDA, and several outstanding choreography awards from various regional and national dance competitions. After touring with Tap Kids as assistant to well known tap choreographer Lisa Hopkins, and serving as resident choreographer for Teen Dance Company of the Bay Area, Cheryl relocated to Los Angeles where she taught for several years at Edge Performing Arts Center and Debbie Reynolds Dance Studio.

Recently Cheryl founded her own professional dance company in Austin, TX. She can also be found teaching master classes, workshops, and residencies all around the country, the most recent of those being with Conquest Dance Intensives. Cheryl's approach to dance is innovative, pedestrian, and most of all organic. The foundation of her movement comes from the philosophy that we are humans who happen to excel in dance, not dancers who happen to excel in life.


Lisa Dominguez
Lisa Dominguez graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz in 2007 with a degree in Political Science. She was exposed to dance at the age of 15 under the guidance of Christina McClelland and Kelley Dodd, Directors of the Dance Program at Independence High School in East San Jose. During that time, she was a member of IndepenDance Dance Company where she had the opportunity to train with Gary Masters as well as perform Jose Limon’s masterwork, "The Unsung". Lisa continued her dance training at DeAnza College under Warren Lucas. She also trained in Ballet and Jazz at UCSC under Lisa Norris. At UCSC Lisa participated in the end of the year Jazz Repertory, where she performed as well as showcased one of her pieces. Lisa has been a teacher at Dance Attack for 9 years now. She is currently Artistic Director for the Sunnyvale Performing Company as well as teaching multiple Jazz, Lyrical, Hip Hop classes.

Jessalyn Espiritu
Jessalyn Espiritu is a native of the Bay Area and a graduate from the University of California Santa Barbara. Presently she is working with the 2010/2011 NFL Oakland Raiderette's assisting as one of the Co-Choreographers and will be working with the Jr. Raiderette Program this season. Currently she is a dancing with Silhouette, in addition to being one of the choreographers for the Valley Christian High School Cheer team while continuing to teach and choreograph across the bay area and country. Jessalyn is the former Captain of the Spy Girls, San Jose NLL Stealth dance team. She has worked with artists such as "Weird Al" Yankovic, LL Cool J, Amerie and choreographed the Oregon tour for the Universal Recording Artist Dol Re'. Jessalyn was the Dance Captain and dancer in the show "Mixed Element" staged at California's Great America. Jessalyn had the lead female role as Doris in the musical "School of Rock Live" the musical. She was one of four back-up dancers in the touring Las Vegas "Legends In Concert" show. She is an alumni member and choreographer of "Fusion Latina", Culture Shock S.F./Oakland, and Phaze II. She is devoted to her craft, committed to sharing her dance knowledge, education, and passion for life with students and dancers of all ages.

Amanda Ford
Amanda Ford has an AA degree in Business/Marketing and for the past two years she has been teaching preschool aged children 3 to 5 years old through her own nanny share program. Growing up, Amanda trained in gymnastics and dance(which included Tap, Ballet and Jazz). She was on the Irvington High School dance team and even did some Hip Hop at Mission Dance Studio. She started teaching at Dance Attack in January of 2010 and Miss Holly was her mentor. Amanda is teaching Tumbling along with Tiny Tots classes and our new Dancing Darlings program.

Jamie Fraser
Jamie Fraser is a local Bay Area Choreographer. Trained by the Legend "GARY KENDELL", Executive Producer/Director of "ONEFORGEE",Toured all over the world with "Monsta Shop Bumpin'" show for 9 years, ready to pass on what i have learned to another generation. ROCKIN THE BEAT!


Jennilee Gomez
Jennilee Gomez has been with Dance Attack! since 2001. She teaches Hip Hop, Special Needs, has been choreographing for the Hip Hop Crew for the past 6 years, and she also works with the Administrative Staff at Dance Attack. For the past 13 years, Jennilee directed, danced, and performed with the all-female dance crews: B-Syde, Sicksyde, and Jane Doe. They've showcased and competed at various dance events including Battlefest, Bustagroove, and SF Hip Hop Dancefest. Her main style is breaking, but practices other styles including house and hip hop choreography. As she's currently taking a break from performing, she is now focusing more on training Capoeira with her group, United Capoeira Association of Hayward, and also competes at various all style and breakdancing events such as All The Way Live Philippines and Bay Area, and Strength in Flavor in San Francisco. In addition to dance, Jennilee received her B.A. in Film, but is currently working as a Special Education teacher while she is also working towards a license as a Registered Nurse.




Dominique Lomuljo
Dominique Lomuljo is a 2008 Bachelor of Arts in Dance graduate from the Dance Program at SJSU where she was a member of the University Dance Theatre - the advanced performing ensemble. She is the recipient of the Carol Ann Haws Award in recognition of excellence in performance and her choreography from the senior production “Embody ONE” was part of UDT's repertory this season which was adjudicated at the 2009 American College Dance Fest. Dominique started dancing at Dance Attack at the age of 4, was one of the original performing company members, became an assistant teacher at an early age and shortly after began teaching her own class. She has won many awards including dance convention scholarships and leadership awards. In high school, she was vice president and assistant teacher of her high school's dance program, Dance Spectrum, and also served as captain and choreographer of the Varsity song-leading team for three years. Dominique danced with Debra Emerson-Boyd and Jen Hechtle-Bradford for eight years, with Dance Attack's Senior Company, where she won numerous awards, and with Foothill College Dance Company where she was nominated Best Female Performer of the Year. Recently she has been part of the United Spirit Association as a professional Song-Leader Instructor. She teaches Contemporary Lyrical/ Modern and Intermediate/Advanced Jazz at Dance Fusion and at Dance Attack where she has been a staff member and choreographer for its performance company for the past 5 years. She is also the Co-Artistic Director of the Modern/ Contemporary dance company, DACPAC. Dominique is also going into her third season has a member with sjDANCEco.





Vinh Nguyen
Vinh Nguyen recently graduated from San Jose State University, where he received a special BA in Musical Theatre and a BS in Recreation/Hospitality Management. Over the years Vinh has trained in ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre-style dance. In addition, he has also studied extensively to become an accomplished singer and a versatile stage actor. While at SJSU, Vinh was a member of “Company One”, a prestigious Musical Theater Troupe in the School of Music and Dance, under the direction of Broadway legend Janie Scott. As an active performing artist, he has participated in many theatrical, musical, and dance productions with SJSU as well as local theaters around the Bay Area. Some of his featured works include: “42nd Street”, “Filthy Rich”, “The King and I”, “Hairspray”, and “High School Musical 2”. Vinh loves teaching dance to children and always looks forward to creating a fun and encouraging learning environment for all his students.





Brooke Serio
Brooke Serio started dancing at the age of three. She began dancing at Dance Attack! when she was six years and became a member of the Performing Company. During her ten years on the Performing Company she got the opportunity to be a member of Team Rave SF, perform at various halftime shows and community events, and also win a Leadership Award. Brooke was also a co-captain of her high school dance team, AMHS Royals. Upon graduating high school, she was able to become a teacher here at Dance Attack! Brooke is currently a student at San Jose State University where she is studying hospitality, recreation and tourism management. She currently teaches jazz, tap, and combo classes here at Dance Attack! Brooke is also a Co-Director of the Sunnyvale Performing Company.

Mariana Sobral
Mariana Sobral began her study of ballet as a student of the "Escuela Nacional de Danzas" in Argentina. Later she attended the University of Buenos Aires where she achieved her Masters Degree in Performing Arts. While in school she studied Ballet Methodology, Production, and Regie' where she discovered her passion for creating scenery. In addition to working on her degree, Mariana performed as a Soloist and Principal Dancer in over a dozen of classical, contemporary and neo-classical choreographies. Some of the classical repertoire that she performed as a Principal Dancer include "Giselle", La Bayadere", "Coppelia", "The Sleeping Beauty" and many others. Since arriving in the United States Mariana has taught ballet and directed students of all ages and experience levels for Ballet San Jose School, South Bay Dance Center, Santa Clara Ballet, and San Jose State University to name a few. She also assisted on the direction and created several sets for South Bay Dance Center production of "The Sleeping Beauty" and "The Nutcracker". A true believer that all students have the potential to reach their goals, Mariana employs a variety of teaching methods depending on individual student needs and with respect to each person's learning style. She encourages a healthy work ethic in a positive and healthy environment so that students can incorporate dance as an enjoyable part of life.

Breton Tyner-Bryan
Breton Tyner-Bryan is a graduate of the University of Utah with a BFA in Ballet Performance. She received her training at the School of the Hartford Ballet and Ballet West Academy. Breton has performed with Hartford Ballet, Utah Ballet, Kunst-Stoff, Project Agora, Labayen Dance, DO NOT DANCE UK, and Deborah Slater Dance Theater. Additionally she has performed works by Marius Petipa, Kirk Peterson, Alonzo King, Robert Moses, Charles Moulton, Donald Byrd, and Cathleen McCarthy. She has had the pleasure of working with the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company. In January 2010 Breton was invited to Norsborg, Sweden Cullberg Ballet. She joined PUSH Dance Company in January 2011.
Breton has choreographed for Woodside Vaulters a Flash Mob/Commercial for Sonas Denim Company and is working on a film with John T. Williams. She has taught/ choreographed for Brigham Young University, The Place (London), Tempered Body Dance (London), DO NOT DANCE UK, Dance Base Scotland, Students of Telford College (Edinburgh), Dance Mission Youth Program, ODC Youth Program, Shawl -Anderson Dance Center and Youth Ensemble, School of the Arts SF, LINES Ballet/School, Alonzo King LINES Dance Center, Professional Ballet School, and College Preparatory School of Berkeley, CA.
An avid photographer, her work has been used by many dance companies and artists in the Bay Area including the LINES/Dominican BFA Program, Labayen Dance, Project Agora, and ODC’s Pilot series to name a few. Her work has appeared regularly in such publications as the San Francisco Chronicle, Bay Area Guardian, and the San Jose Mercury News. Breton has exhibited her work at Dance Mission as part of Project Agora’s 2007 home season, Fivepoints Art House in collaboration with Motion-Pictures SF 2009, and the San Francisco Dance Film Festival 2010.
